🔒 Reservations & Pricing Clarity

How Our 2-Hour Reservation Hold & Transparent Pricing System Works

When booking an independent BASI Level 4 ISTD ski instructor in Val d'Isère, you are reserving 100% of an individual professional's time and mountain focus. Unlike large ski schools that overbook desks and shuffle clients across junior instructors, my calendar shows true real-time availability. To give you peace of mind while coordinating chalet arrivals, flight timings, or family consensus, our system features an automated Reservation Hold.

01

Booking less than 2 months away - Instant 2-Hour Hold

If the booking is made less than 2 months before you ski, select your dates and click "Submit Booking," our database immediately locks your chosen slots for 2 hours. This prevents calendar collisions while you review confirmation emails and finalize details. Or you can pay immediately.

02

Zero Extra Group Fees

Whether you are skiing alone or sharing a private lesson with your family or friends (up to about 6 skiers), our rates are fixed per session, never increased per person.

03

All-Inclusive Coaching Value

Every booking includes a mixture of the necessary; video analysis, custom meeting points, mandatory avalanche safety equipment for off-piste lessons, and detailed technical summaries after each day on the mountain.

❓ Pricing & Booking FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions — Ski Lesson Prices & Reservations in Val d'Isère

Everything you need to know about our 2-Hour Reservation Hold, payment methods, cancellation terms, group sizes, and private ski lesson rates in Val d'Isère and Tignes.

How do you ensure privacy and security for VIPs, celebrities, and high-net-worth individuals?

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my independent ski coaching. I have had the privilege of skiing with many high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, royal family members, and executive leaders who return year after year because they value absolute discretion on and off the mountain.

Skiing in Val d'Isère offers a rare environment where you can remain comfortably hidden from view—goggles, helmets, and alpine layers provide natural anonymity. I routinely coordinate with personal assistants, booking managers, and close-protection security teams to arrange private chalet ski-room fittings, discreet gondola access, and secluded backcountry routes away from crowds. Your itinerary, identity, and personal privacy are never publicized or shared.

How does the 2-Hour Reservation Hold work when I select dates online?

If the booking is less than 2 months away, then when you select your dates and submit the reservation form, our system places an immediate **2-hour temporary hold** on your calendar slots in our database.

During this 2-hour window, those slots appear as reserved to other users, giving you uninterrupted time to verify your travel itinerary and complete secure payment confirmation via Email or WhatsApp.

What happens after I submit my booking request on the calendar?

Immediately after clicking "Submit Booking," you will receive an automated confirmation message via Email and WhatsApp summarizing your dates, selected sessions, and total lesson fee.

Terry Walker will personally review your request and send a secure payment link along with a direct welcome message to coordinate your meeting point and specific skiing goals.

What if my booking is more than 2 months away? How do I pay?

When you use the interactive booking calendar through this website, and make a booking more than 2 calendar months away, the system holds the reservation for those dates, then sends your payment link via email, WhatsApp/SMS 2 months before the session. This means you can book for next season in confidence that your dates are locked into my diary.

Why are private ski lesson prices different across peak and regular periods?

Demand for independent BASI Level 4 ISTD instructors in Val d'Isère is exceptionally high during peak holiday weeks (Christmas, New Year, February school half-term, and Easter).

Our calendar dynamically adjusts rates between Peak Weeks and Regular Season Weeks to reflect market demand while maintaining complete transparency with zero hidden booking fees.

How do we pay for our ski lessons after reserving dates?

We accept secure online payments via major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and international bank transfer (SEPA/SWIFT).

A deposit or full payment link is sent directly to your email and WhatsApp upon booking submission to permanently confirm your reserved dates.

What is your cancellation and weather refund policy?

Lessons proceed in all safe alpine winter weather conditions. If severe storms or avalanche danger result in the complete closure of the Val d'Isère and Tignes lift networks, sessions are covered by our standard rebooking and refund guarantee.

For personal cancellations, our fair, transparent cancellation schedule is detailed in our official Terms & Conditions and provided upon booking.

Do lesson prices include ski lift passes or equipment rental?

Lesson fees cover your professional coaching, guiding, priority lift queue access, video analysis, and backcountry avalanche safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe).

Ski lift passes (Val d'Isère / Tignes Area Pass), skis, boots, and personal clothing are not included and must be arranged separately prior to your first lesson.

Can we split our booked days between morning and afternoon sessions?

Yes! Using our interactive itinerary engine above, you can customize each day independently, booking morning sessions on certain days and afternoon sessions on others according to your group's stamina and holiday plans.
